For over twenty years, students from Eastern Illinois University have been traveling to Haiti twice a year. While there, we are not called to do service in the communities we travel in, but interact and visit with our Haitian brothers and sisters. The fundraisers and the money we raise throughout the year have gone towards many projects in the past and we continue to support our sister communities and Haiti and develop new ties in the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere.
