Following Christ transformed into walking with Christ transformed into bringing Christ to others. Disciples are committed to the teachings of the Church and put their faith into action. By cultivating deep relationship with Christ and imitating His example, disciples seek to share this love of God with their neighbor. This active movement of faith transforms and grows the future of our Church.
About Reach More…
Reach More, through The Evangelical Catholic, is a mission training program that includes formation and training to support faith in day-to-day living. It seeks to provide students with a missionary mindset and strengthen practical skills. This is based on Jesus’ mission process he lived with His twelve disciples. He discerned and invited an intentional group. Then by living life along side them, formed and trained them. Finally after His death and resurrection, he sent them out to proclaim the Good News while remaining with them through prayer and sacraments. Reach More seeks to put this process into action today!
The Training Process
Attendance of weekly training sessions for a 12 week period
Commitment to daily prayer and reflection with a provided prayer companion
Bi-weekly one-on-one meetings with the session leader to dive deeper into covered content and discussions
Participation in Newman events and leadership opportunities
Inviting and engaging peers to grow their relationships with Christ
