God asks us to be sincere and cheerful givers. What can you “just give 1” of?
Newman runs only by the generosity of others. We are called to form a habit of giving, whether financially or through our gifts and talents. Our giving is an act of thanks in return for what God has first given to us. Just Give 1 allows students to invest themselves in the Newman Community through the resources God provides. Giving back makes possible for others to participate and attend the same opportunities that you have.
The idea is simple, instead of going out for coffee, eating out, or purchasing a material item, what if you instead gave what you were going to spend to God?
With your monthly donation, you can offer up…
$10 - one coffee a month
$20 - one meal eaten out
$30 - one clothing purchase
By joining Just Give 1, you will receive a tiny saint of St. Philip Neri, the patron of our chapel. We hope you attach him to your key chain or place him somewhere that will remind you of Newman.

What is Just Give 1?
JG1 is our monthly giving program for students starting at $10 a month or more, who wish to actively make a difference and further our mission of forming disciples for the Church and the world.
Why should I join?
JG1 provides students an opportunity to give back to the Newman Center with a heart of gratitude. No matter what brings you here, your presence and your support matters!
How does it work?
You’ll sign up for JG1 by debit/credit or ACH (an automatic electronic payment) through the “join now” button above. Each month, you’ll make an automatic donation to Newman on the date you choose.
